Red Dead Redemption 2: Sheep Locations

Red Dead Redemption 2 sheep locations are important for fans looking to find sheep pelts.
Sheep can usually be found in mountainous, or elevated areas around the map. They can be used as a source of food since they provide mutton, but their hide can also be used to craft gear. They're usually in groups, so it makes killing multiple sheep very easy. Sheep tend to spawn closer to Cattail Pond.

Red Dead Redemption 2: Sheep Location
They're a large mammal, so using weapons such as bows with poison arrows or sniper rifles are effective, and help you keep your distance since sheep tend to scare easily. Avoid using explosives as well, unless you want to chase down another herd of sheep to make up for the ones you scared away.
Killing sheep with the correct set of weapons will result in the "perfect sheep pelt" which can be used to craft higher quality items such as the "Trapper’s Cloak," the "Huntsman Vest", and the "Sheepskin Vest" just to name a few.
