Renegades to Replace Mousesports at IEM Beijing-Haidian

Renegades will replace mousesports in the IEM Beijing-Haidian tournament lineup, IEM announced Tuesday.
Unspecified problems with obtaining visas will prevent mousesports from attending the Counter-Strike: Global Offensive tournament in China. Renegades, by stepping in, will have the chance to follow up on its third-fourth place finish at the StarLadder Berlin Major in September.

Mousesports is the second team to be replaced at IEM Beijing-Haidian following ENCE stepping in after Team Liquid dropped out Oct. 22.
Mousesports was to be one of eight teams competing at the event. The team earned its place in the tournament by winning the GG.Bet Invitational, one of three qualifying competitions. ViCi Gaming and TYLOO claimed the other two qualifier spots, leaving five slots for invited teams.
The full list of competing teams now includes Astralis, ENCE, FaZe Clan, Evil Geniuses, Team Vitality, ViCi Gaming and TYLOO.
IEM Beijing-Haidian will begin Nov. 7 and continue through Nov. 10. The winner will receive the lion's share of a $250,000 prize pool and an invitation to IEM Katowice 2020.
