Resident Evil 3 Nightmare Mode differences can take the game from enjoyable to dismal grind.

Nightmare Mode is the fourth hardest difficulty in the game behind, Assisted, Standard and Hardcore. But what is different about it from the other modes?

Resident Evil 3 Nightmare Mode Differences: What Are They?

Once you go over the option to play Nightmare Mode, a description will appear telling you what you need to initially know before making your decision.

Enemies and items appear in different locations than the mode chosen previously, which will make planning out your route painfully difficult and full of surprises. The enemies behave more aggressively, which means they will attack you harder and faster than before. Overall, the enemies have much stronger attacks.

This makes it so that you can be hit once, and die. And speaking on attacking faster, don't be surprised if a zombie starts gunning it towards you like an Olympic sprinter. Not to mention, if you struggle to get past normal Resident Evil 3 enemies in this mode, you'll pour hours into trying to kill a boss. But, if you pull it off, the glory is all yours!
