A buff to Revenant's ability to climb higher than other character in Apex Legends appears to have unlocked an altogether new way to traverse the map that players are calling wall-hopping.

Respawn Entertainment buffed Revenant's Stalker passive ability in the Genesis Collection update. Although the Synthetic Nightmare could already climb higher than other characters in the game, this new update allows him to bounce between walls, provided they're close enough to one another.

Apex Legends pro player Veytd found the technique and posted a video demonstrating it on Twitter last week. There aren't many locations on Apex Legends' current set of maps that allow this technique any major game-changing usefulness, but it's just a matter of time until players find a way to push this technique to new heights.

Respawn Entertainment is monitoring Revenant's performance in the wake of the update, so it should be ready to clamp down on the technique if it reveals itself to be too powerful.

The Genesis Collection update arrived in Apex Legends in late June. The update brought changes for several Legends, including Octane, Lifeline, Bloodhound and Wattson in addition to the Collection update itself and a plethora of new cosmetics for players to collect.
