Apex Legends introduced Revenant in a surprising manner after teasing Forge as the newest Legend planned for Season 4. We eventually saw Revenant murder Forge, and saw a cinematic giving players glimpse of Revenant's backstory.

Needless to say, the robotic assassin was an instant hit and has some unique abilities. The main one is his Death Totem which allows teammates to revive with one health instead of dying.

The totem is meant to be used before a firefight and gives players a second chance at life, but what happens if your teammates are already dead.

In a post to the Apex Legends subreddit, user talalm5 showed off an improbable way at using the totem. After what seems like a grueling firefight, their two teammates are dead outside the safe zone. It's fairly late game, meaning the zone will hurt, so they can't run in, pick up the banners, and escape with their life. Or that's what you think.

Talalm5 pops the totem, and runs in the damage zone, grabs the two banners, and as he dies, respawns at his totem. That's the creativity the Apex Legends community loves to see.
