Where are Runaway Boulders located on the Fortnite map? The answer: all over it.

The latest batch of Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 3 Quests debuted this morning, one of them being to "Dislodge or destroy Runaway Boulders with a melee weapon (3)." Similar to week 2's quest to "Boost into a Runaway Boulder and dislodge it with a Baller (1), this technique for dislodging boulders may not be as fun, but it definitely succeeds in getting more giant rocks rolling around the map. Whatever Epic's sophisticated intentions with this quest may or may not be, completing the quest is worth 15k XP in the Battle Pass.

As for where Runaway Boulders can be found on the map, they are all over. Common sense says frankly, they are higher up than other stuff. After all, what's a Runaway Boulder without a little bit of potential energy?

It comes as no surprise that Rave Cave, one of the highest points on the map, has a large concentration of the rocks. But really, they are scattered all over the place. Until a comprehensive
