Sam Wilson Captain America Coming to Fortnite, Suggest Leaks

New Fortnite leaks have suggested that a new Captain America skin could be on the way, possibly pointing to Sam Wilson.

It's been a hot minute since we've seen a new Marvel skin make its way into Fortnite, but the continued collaboration has brought in a huge variety of characters from the iconic to the obscure. In past seasons we've seen everyone from Doctor Strange to Black Panther to Ghost Rider, and with a deep pool of characters to pull from, any Marvel character could be next to get the Fortnite treatment.

But some leaks have managed to isolate which character could be next in line, and it has something to do with Captain America.

New Captain America Skin Coming to Fortnite, Suggest Leaks

According to Fortnite leaker HYPEX, a new Item Shop banner has appeared in the game's data that points to an upcoming collaboration. A new Captain America set was also added.

The leaker didn't have much else to go on, but suggested that "maybe" we could be seeing Sam Wilson now that he's taken over the Captain America mantle.

Sam Wilson's addition would make a lot of sense, given that plenty of the other popular Avengers have received Fortnite skins in the past. Played by Anthony Mackie in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Sam Wilson never received a Fortnite skin as Falcon, but perhaps the character will be added as Captain America.

Epic Games has yet to confirm the new Captain America cosmetics set, or reveal if Sam Wilson will be included. For now, the leaks should be taken with a grain of salt.
