Scalebreaker DLC Announced for The Elder Scrolls Online
By Jack O'Dwyer

ZeniMax Online Studios announced a new downloadable content (DLC) pack for The Elder Scrolls Online on July 2 alongside Update 23.
The new DLC is titled Scalebreaker and includes two PvE dungeons, armor sets and collectibles. Update 23 focuses on some quality of life upgrades having to do with Undaunted rewards, crafting and trading.
Scalebreaker Dungeon Pack
Scalebreaker contains two new stories that are set to take place after the game's most recent chapter, Elsweyr, dealing with the consequences of releasing dragons from the Halls of Colossus this past year.
Moongrave Fane is the first in this pack, focusing on a clan of vampires who have found a way to capture a dragon. They seek to perform a blood ritual to drain the dragon of its overwhelming power and absorb it for themselves. It's up to you to help a member of the ancient Dragonguard put an end to this threat.
The second dungeon focuses on the far-reaching effects the dragons have wrought. In the neighboring province of Valenwood, Grahtwood's capital, the famous Elden Root tree, is in danger from the spreading corruption of the Lair of Maarselok. A truce between the spirits of the Green has been called for you to step up, slay Maarselok and save the tree.
As usual, completing these dungeons will give you rewards like mementos, motifs, and even a new non-combat pet. Entering either dungeon will earn you the Dread-Aurelian Mask style.
Update 23
The largest upgrade within Update 23 is the change to the Undaunted. Their keys are now listed as currency and can be viewed in the currency section of your inventory. You may now also receive coffers from Undaunted NPCs instead of having to interact with the chests in their camp.
While the coffers, themselves, bear no new changes to the rewards, you will now be presented with the option to spend more keys on specific coffers from specific pairs of dungeons.
Undaunted NPCs will offer each month's Monster shoulder style page for a large amount of keys, allowing you to obtain them instantly.
The new Update also includes the function to craft, refine, and deconstruct multiple items at once, as well as allowing Guilds access to bid on up to 10 Guild Trader spots each week. Battleground maps will see a slight tweak in map size according to the game mode being played for a more tailored experience.
