Secret Nemesis Animation Found in Apex Legends

Players have discovered a secret reload animation for the Nemesis AR in Apex Legends, after being teased by the developers.

Apex Legends Season 16 has been with us for just over a week now, and players have been introduced to a number of major changes. The biggest being the shake-up to the Legend classes. All characters now fit into one of five classes: Assault, Recon, Skirmisher, Controller and Support.

But Legends weren't all the changed in this latest season. To adjust the weapon pool, Respawn dished out a variety of buffs and nerfs to upset the meta but also added in a brand new AR: the Nemesis.

Immediately dubbed as being "overpowered," with fans calling for it to be nerfed almost instantly, it seems the weapon also came with a few secrets.

Respawn developer Allan Zhang took to Twitter to thank colleagues for their hard work in designing and the Nemesis AR. Underneath all the thanks, Zhang hinted that players still had one thing left to uncover:

"There should be a cool reload somewhere...," he said, referencing a hidden animation for the Nemesis AR.

Of course the Apex community can't resist a challenge, and within a day the special animation was uncovered. Apex leaker KralRindo was one of the first to post about it.

“After trying so many times… finally got the secret nemesis reload animation!” they said, “it’s a Titanfall splitter rifle reference!”

This animation was confirmed to be the "cool reload" in question, and it begs the question just how many other secret easter eggs are hiding in Season 16?
