The next major World of Warcraft update will release on Feb. 22, 2022. Patch 9.2, will be the final patch of World of Warcraft: Shadowlands. The patch release is a welcomed update as the last major patch was released on June 29, 2021.

Along with new content and changes, a new Mythic+ and PvP season will start a week after the patch is released, March 1, 2022. The new arena season will feature fresh gear sets, a new mount, weapon illusion, and the new gladiator title "Cosmic Gladiator." Furthermore, according to the patch notes, the Mythic+ season will feature a new affix where players must defeat powerful foes to unlock powerful upgrades.

Along with a new zone, Zereth Mortis, players will battle The Jailer in the new raid, Sepulcher of the First Ones. Furthermore, the patch will include massive updates to Player vs. Player, with class changes and a new brawl, The Solo Shuffle.

Sepulcher of the First Ones will feature 11 new bosses including Zovaal and the corrupted Anduin Wrynn. Blizzard is keeping the traditional four-tier difficulty format with Raid Finder, Normal, Heroic and Mythic.

The new Brawl, The Solo Shuffle, will pit two teams of six players against each other in an arena-style format. The new game feature pays respect to those players who have been asking for a solo-queue system for years. The push for a solo-queue feature was popularized by the Twitch streamer, "Savix," and is finally somewhat being implemented into the game.

For players, rest up and prepare to enter Zereth Mortis tomorrow!
