Shiny Diglet Pokemon Go: Niantic Offers Pokémon as Event Reward

Shiny Diglet Pokemon Go may be re-introduced to the game as a special reward for the community, provided it puts in enough work during the Earth Day 2019 event. The celebration itself came and went Monday, but the the community is still earning rewards. Here’s what you need to know.
This weekend, give back to the community by participating in one of the many #EarthDay cleanups that we’re hosting in collaboration with @playmob! ? Learn more:https://t.co/loEvAyUbfE pic.twitter.com/PG0becPQdk

Shiny Diglet Pokemon Go
As it did last year, Pokémon Go developer Niantic encouraged players to participate in cleanup events around the world by creating special rewards for player participation in those events. Niantic partnered with Playmob to organize and help players organize events to clean up trash, and made different reward tiers based on player participation.
At 2,000 players attending events, Ground-type Pokémon would appear more frequently in the wild, and heatsinks, multihacks, shields and power cubes would be more common. At 5,000, Shiny Diglett would start to appear in the world, and AP linking would be doubled.
The top reward at 7,000 players would add a chance to encounter Groudon during raids, double AP fielding, double Catch Stardust and double Catch Candy.
Player participation will continue to be counted through Sunday, and whatever rewards the community unlocks will be available from April 29 to May 2.
