Shiny Electabuzz in Pokemon GO will become available in increasing numbers during its Community Day feature next month, November 2020.

Niantic Labs recently announced two more Community Day events on its official Twitter page Tuesday, Oct. 27. These events will take place on Nov. 15 and Nov. 21, featuring Electabuzz and Magmar, respectively. From 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., trainers will have the opportunity to take part in unique exclusive research lines, tasks, increased spawns of the chosen Pokemon, and more.

Trainers will have a 1:450 chance of encountering a shiny Electabuzz during its Community Day. As usual, they won't know their spawned Pokemon is a shiny until they open the encounter. In other words, each encounter they stumble upon holds a 0.22% chance of containing the shiny variant.

Shiny Electabuzz is markedly different from its normal form in the fact that its entire body is sherbet-orange. Instead of the bright electric yellow, this color palette focuses primarily on a sunset scheme.

Electabuzz is part of the original 151, hailing from the Kanto region with a PokeDex number of 125. Also known as the "Electric Pokemon," it is best known for acting as a lightning rod. Groups of this Pokemon will climb to great heights during storms to willingly be struck by bolts.

Trainers can evolve Electabuzz from Elekid using 25 candies. It can then be evolved further into Electivire using 100 candies and a Sinnoh stone.

More information about each Community Day is available on Niantic's official Pokemon GO news blog.
