Shiny Stunky Pokemon GO was commonly found alongside other dark-types for the duration of yesterday's water and dark Incense Day event.

Stunky is a posion and dark-type from the Sinnoh region that is meant to resemble a real-world skunk. Its PokeDex entry states that "it protects itself by spraying a noxious fluid from its rear. The stench lingers for 24 hours." It makes sense that trainers would be interested in adding such a direct parallel to their in-game collection.

Unfortunately for those wanting to collect an alternate palette of this noxious Generation IV single-striped dark-type, its shiny version is currently not available in Pokemon GO. Strange, as the Pokemon has been previously featured in Halloween events and, now, also made an appearance during an Incense Day hour.

As a dark-type, Stunky can be found most commonly in the evenings, during foggy or cloudy weather, and tends to be much more popular in developed cities. It cannot be hatched. It is truly a rare Pokemon.

Shiny Stunky has a deep raspberry color where it was once a faded purple—invoking the image of raspberry jam to some. Its inner ear and eye markings are also a more saturated orange than before. Stunky evolves into Stuntank with the use of 50 candies.

There is no word on whether its shiny form will be released.
