Shox Joins Team Vitality CS:GO Lineup

Richard "shox" Papillon has joined Team Vitality’s Counter-Strike: Global Offensive lineup, per a Saturday announcement by the team.
The move confirms reporting published Sept. 14 by French site 1pv that claimed Team Vitality leaned toward shox over CS:GO free agent Fabien "kioShiMa" Fiey. Vitality went with shox despite the major disparity in price, leading to a reported buyout of between $350,000 and $450,00.
Please give a very warm welcome to @ShoxCSGO in our CSGO team #VforVictory

Shox previously played for G2 Esports, where he most recently finished ninth-11th at the StarLadder Berlin Major. His former team is currently competing at ESL One New York with kioShiMa playing in his stead.
Team Vitality out-placed G2 at the Berlin Major, losing out at fifth-eighth, but was the first team to announce roster changes in the wake of the event. The team benched Nathan "NBK-" Schmitt before the tournament's conclusion, opening the slot that shox has claimed less than a month later.
