Sneaky Teleporter in Airbase is a One-Melee Death Trap

A Wraith Portal is just as much lure for unsuspecting enemies as much as it is an escape for teammates. At best, it can be both at the same time.

Apex Legends Season 6: Boosted brought some major changes to the battle royale. All shields are now Evo Shields, and players can now collect crafting materials with which they can create items at replicators. TTK is lower than ever, and many players are struggling to survive.

Players now have to be incredibly careful and resourceful when engaging enemies. This Wraith provides a perfect example of resourcefulness, using only her fists and a portal to wipe out an entire enemy squad.

At the beginning of this clip, posted to the Apex Legends subreddit Tuesday by u/Xenii0, the odds are stacked against Wraith. One teammate is already eliminated, and the other is downed on the other side of Airbase.

A well-placed portal is always a great way of getting a downed teammate to a safe position for a revive. At the same time, Apex players know to follow Wraiths through portals to kill them while attempting revives. This Wraith knows all of this and executes a perfect plan.

Wraith places her portal right on the edge, then runs to place the other end near her teammate. They both teleport back to the opening, and she waits for each enemy to follow through. Sure enough, all of them do. The best part is they each give her just enough time to melee them off the map before the next enemy comes through.

By the end of the clip, Wraith has secured three environmental kills and successfully revived her teammate — all thanks to a lack of awareness from the enemy team.
