The Eclipse skins came out as an event tied with Coven skins for other champions. Leona got both Eclipse skins while the Coven skins were split between Camille and Lissandra.

Both the Eclipse skins share the same base art for their splash, but the difference is in the lighting and color schemes. Solar Eclipse Leona focuses on the sun behind Leona as she looks down upon you. You can see the eclipse happening behind her and the color scheme reflects the sun's light on the whole picture.
