Fans waiting for an extended look at FF7 Rebirth will have to wait until Sony State of Play comes back on Feb. 6, 2024.
The Sony State of Play for January 2024 revealed countless announcements about upcoming projects. From the Stellar Blade release date to a new trailer for the Silent Hill 2 remake, the livestream provided an in-depth look, featuring exclusive gameplay footage, at multiple titles coming in 2024. The event even featured a surprise release of Silent Hill: The Short Message, an experimental, free-to-play addition to the popular horror franchise.
Despite all the exciting announcements and teasers, the livestream failed to reveal any groundbreaking news about one of the most highly anticipated releases of 2024: Final Fantasy VII: Rebirth. Fortunately, another State of Play is on the way.
