Sprout is mulling a return to fielding a full-German Counter-Strike roster, according to multiple sources close to the situation. Of those being considered, both Fritz "slaxz" Dietrich and Marko "kressy" Đorđević have emerged as favorites in making a move.

Should the potential aforementioned additions occur, they would replace both Paweł "dycha" Dycha and Michał "snatchie" Rudzki. Due to upcoming commitments, the change could occur in the coming weeks or as late as early next year. The two Polish players joined Sprout earlier in the year at different points, with dycha joining in January and snatchie joining in late April. The two joined as replacements for Nils "k1to" Gruhne and Tomáš "oskar" Šťastný.

Slaxz and kressy are long-time members of ALTERNATE aTTaX, having joined at the same time and played there since January of 2019. Since joining the team, they have won several lower level German and European tournaments but have failed to qualify for any international tournaments.

Sprout have had an up and down 2020, with a few promising results considering the European region they have been playing during the online era. They recently made it to the quarterfinals of ESL One: Cologne 2020 Online and finished 8th place for DreamHack Open Fall 2020. Their second place finish for Season 33 of ESEA Premier back in August meany they narrowly missed qualification for ESL Pro League Season 12.

Representatives from Sprout declined comment.
