Squid Game has taken the world by storm, being the latest battle royale-related media to grace the Internet. Fortnite fans eagerly await a potential crossover with the South Korean drama, making Creative islands that replicate the activities in the show. Here’s an island that’s been gaining some widespread attention, recreating one of the show’s most shocking events.
Creative allows the fans to create the next big game mode in the Fortnite community, and there are plenty of genres for players to partake in. Team Deathmatches, Survivals, and Prop Hunt servers are some of the most popular Creative modes, among many more. With the release of Netflix’s extremely-popular Squid Game, many have taken to replicating the battle royale competition in Fortnite. This island in particular has been popular among fans, developed by Glitch King.
Squid Game Fortnite Code: Creative Maps to Try
Players who join will relive the “Red Light, Green Light” game from the South Korean drama, queuing up in a lobby before taking the field. The field is flat and even has that creepy doll from the show to complete the mood, where up to 16 players will play for their lives.
For those unfamiliar with the scene, one player is chosen to be the host, and will command the rest of the players to traverse a field to get to the other side. When commanded, they will proceed, stopping when the order is given. Players must get to the other side to “win” the game and survive, but if anyone is still moving when the order to do so is called, they will be shot by the host and killed, losing the game. It’s a rather morbid take on Red Light, Green Light.
For those who wish to jump in and relive this famous scene for themselves can do so using the code below:
