A new Star Trek Game appears to have leaked ahead of a full reveal, which is slated for May.

The Star Trek fan Twitter account TrekCore discovered a sign at the Star Trek Chicago convention Thursday advertising a game called Star Trek: Prodigy – Supernova coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, PC and Nintendo Switch.

Publisher Outright Games confirmed the game was in development Friday via Twitter, saying it was coming soon. Outright Games has previously worked on games for "My Little Pony," "Fast & Furious," and "Hotel Transylvania," among others, making it a popular choice for licensed games.

The Spanish studio Tessera Games will develop the game. Its only previous release is the VR game Intruders: Hide and Seek, which came out in 2019.

"More game features to be announced soon!" Outright wrote on Twitter. Those features will likely be revealed via Outright's YouTube account in May, per the Star Trek Chicago posters.

Supernova marks the second Star Trek development game in active development alongside Star Trek: Resurgence. That game will a third-person adventure telling an original story set after the events of Star Trek: The Next Generation, and is being developed by a studio of former Telltale developers.
