Star Wars Squadrons Future Content: What's Next?

Star Wars Squadrons' future content is a topic that appears to have no plans to be addressed by Electronic Arts at the moment.
As expected of a vehicle-only combat-centric game designed to target a niche audience, major updates for Star Wars Squadrons' future content appear to be further back in EA's agenda for now.
While we are investigating the reports received on various issues for #StarWarsSquadrons, we are deploying a small PC patch to improve overall stability in the game when launching in VR.

Star Wars Squadrons Future Content: What's Next?
Less than a week since its Oct. 3 release, Star Wars Squadrons has made its rounds through the PlayStation, Xbox, and PC universes with most players appearing to come to the same conclusion—aside from the two core 5v5 multiplayer modes, the game feels pretty hollow in terms of content and replay value.
Aside from a minor patch targeting bug fixes for VR support on PC, the features and details of the game appear to be delivered as advertised, offering a unique experience for fans of the Star Wars universe, devoid of microtransactions and paid DLC.
With the likes of a 14-mission dual-perspective campaign, and a multiplayer experience complete with crossplay, a ranking system, and season rewards on day one, it appears this may be the final product EA envisioned for Star Wars Squadrons.
At the end of the day, with the game having been launched at $40, don't expect much in terms of post-launch content for the foreseeable future or at least the free type of content.
