Players want to know what the release date is for Bethesda and Microsoft's latest title, Starfield.
Starfield was announced during the Xbox and Bethesda Showcase at E3 2021. Earlier today, Sunday, June 13, Todd Howard personally appeared to reveal the next step for man—at least, digitally. Fans were greeted with a reveal trailer showcasing an astronaut preparing to venture toward the starry skies above—the first new universe from the company in 25 years.
So, when can players get in the driver's seat? We've secured the date as seen in that very trailer footage.
Starfield Release Date
Fans can play Starfield on Nov. 11, 2022. When the game drops, it will be as an Xbox exclusive—likely a result of the Bethesda Softworks/Microsoft merger.
Information about the game is ultimately pretty slim. The most the audience could see was the starship, the astronaut, themselves, and a few smaller details including the ship's call number, "Frontier" make, and "Constellation" call name. However, we can expect the game will feature heavy sci-fi themes and galactic exploration. After all, who really knows what awaits mankind behind the stars?
More information can be found on the Starfield tab of Bethesda's website. Potential players are encouraged to sign-up for updates and join the game Discord via the landing page.
