The HBRa3 was one of the most lethal Assault Rifles in Advanced Warfare, and in its time, was one of the strongest mid-range metas in Call of Duty. Now, Swagg has replicated this rifle as a throwback loadout in CoD: Warzone, to bring the HBRa3 to Caldera and Rebirth Island.

The HBRa3 was known for its solid damage range and recoil managability, and it would likely perform well in today's Caldera and expecially in Rebirth Island. While the weapon isn't in today's game, the Grau weapon has a blueprint that can most closely imitate the HBRa3. Here's how to build it according to Swagg.

How to Recreate the HBRa3 AR in Warzone

To start, you'll need to obtain the Mother Lode Grau weapon blueprint. This gun variant comes with the unique optic that the HBRa3 utilized in Advanced Warfare. Once you have this blueprint equipped, it’s recommended that you remove the equipped attachments, particularly if you wish to increase your range in Warzone, and instead equip these:

  • Muzzle: Monolithic Suppressor
  • Barrel: Tempus 26.4″ Archangel
  • Underbarrel: Commando Foregrip
  • Ammunition: 60 Round Mags
  • Perk: Sleight of Hand

In order to make the gun more versatile, Swagg has used the Monolithic Suppressor and Tempus 26.4″ Archangel. Both these attachments increase the Grau’s damage range, while also adding recoil control and bullet velocity. The silencer is always a good choice no matter the loadout, in order to stay quiet on enemies' minimaps. To mimic the manageable recoil of the HBRa3, the Commando Foregrip gives you great stability and accuracy.

The highlight of the loadout is the Motherlode sight, which swaps out range with incredible ADS time and almost perfectly mimics the sight on the Advanced Warfare HBRa3. The 60 round magazine ensures that you keep enough bullets to take out enemies in Caldera. If you're looking for a new weapon to try out in Warzone that will bring back some nostalgia, try Swagg's new loadout in your next match, it may surprise you.
