Given the Marvel themed Fortnite realm as of late, new abilities have recently made their way into the game. The latest addition, Storm of the X-Men universe, introduced a new whirlwind ability that SypherPK has declared to be the best in Fortnite.
The declaration comes as a result of the versatility and overall power level of the whirlwind ability. In a recent YouTube video, SypherPK revealed how to best harness Storm's power. Check it out below.
SypherPK Declares Storm's Whirlwind Best Ability in Fortnite
Storm's whirlwind in Fortnite allows players to avoid damage, block projectiles, disarm enemies, and even send opponents flying to their death. As shown above, the ability to mitigate damage has many relevant applications. Whether under heavy fire or seemingly falling to your death, Storm's whirlwind allows users to completely avoid damage.
Another feature of Storm's whirlwind is the ability to send enemies flying, a concept that SypherPK explains is especially powerful. This is due to the fact that it works on nearly any player regardless of their skill level. To best utilize this feature, look to build high into the air once Storm's whirlwind has been attained. When enemies advance towards your position in the sky, use the whirlwind to send them flying to their demise. This is also a great way to launch players into the storm if it is nearby.
