Team Liquid won IEM Sydney 2019 with a 3-2 series win over Fnatic.

While neither Natus Vincere and Astralis attended the event, most of the high-profile teams were in attendance.

Both NRG Esports and Team Liquid never dropped a game in the group stage and advanced to the semifinals on the opposite side of the bracket. Team Liquid would sweep MIBR in a quick 2-0 fashion to advance to the finals.

Fnatic had some tough series against Ninjas in Pyjamas and NRG before advancing. Fnatic won Cache before TL took Overpass and Mirage. Fnatic showed some more life with a dominant victory on Dust2 before TL finished it with a win on Inferno.

The next premier CS:GO event will be DreamHack Masters Dallas starting on May 28.
