Arcane Fans and Teamfight Tactics are in for a treat, Silco will be a new unit in Teamfight Tactics.

Silco is the villian in the Netflix original Arcane, based on the League of Legends universe and familiar characters like Vi, Caitlyn, Jayce, Jinx, and more.

Teamfight Tactics Adds Silco as a New Unit

Silco is to be released in Feb. 2022, while he is currently being developed in the game. TFT developers have a bit more of a challenge to implement Silco in the game.

Silco will be the first unit in Teamfight Tactics to join the game without a previous appearance in League of Legends. In fact, Silco unfortunately will not be a champion in League of Legends either.

The developers with TFT will have to create Silco from scratch, whereas other champions from League of Legends have an easier adaptation into TFT.

With consideration of how Silco is a strong character with many skills in the show, the team at Teamfight Tactics are going to build Silco as an exclusive unit to TFT. This could mean that Silco will be a 5-star unit in the game, with the skills he will bring.

According to the announcement from the offical Riot Games site, "while Silco may be the first non-League unit to join TFT, there may be more outsiders joining us in the future. Maybe some from outside of Runeterra entirely…"
