Teamfight Tactics Patch 11.4 has arrived and so has the patch notes.

Cultists can rejoice at the new buffs, while traits like Brawler, Warlords, Elder, and more have been nerfed. Items like Statikk Shive and Deathblade have either been changed, while champions like Nunu, Nautilus, Neeko, and Nidalee have been "adjusted" according to the highlights of the official patch notes page.

Lucky Lanterns and Chosens

If players have Stage 3 or Stage 4 Lanterns, they will no longer be able to get 2 Loaded Dice or 2 Target Dummies according to the patch notes. Additionally, Stage 4 Lanterns don't allow players to get three-item components.

A Chosen can be a game-changer, and the developers acknowledged this and made a couple of changes in an attempt of encouraging players to have more Chosens on the battlefield rather than less.

  • Chosen Base Odds: 33%⇒50%
  • Rolling Odds for Level 4: 60/40/0/0/0%⇒80/20/0/0/0%
  • Chosen Bonus Spell Power: 30⇒15
  • Chosen Bonus Attack Damage: 20⇒10
  • Chosen Bonus Mana Reduction: 25%⇒15%
  • Chosen Bonus Health: 400⇒300 (The bonus 200 health baseline that Chosens receive just for being Chosen is not affected here)

The only trait that was not nerfed this patch was Cultist, which has instead received a massive buff in its bonus magic resistance (from 20 to 60.) It is highly possible that we see more compositions with champions that have either the Cultist or the Divine trait, based on the nerfs that the other ones received.

There were multiple bug fixes that the developers addressed in the full version of the patch notes. It is possible that compositions will change due to the nerfs to champions like Nidalee, but this remains to be seen as it is too early to determine that.
