Riot released their second patch for set 6 in Teamfight Tactics (TFT). Players will see the addition of a new game mode, and changes in Hextech augments.
'Double up' is Teamfight Tactics's new game mode where players can team up in duos. The gameplay remains the same but now you'll share health with your partner. That means if you or your teammate take damage from losing a match, the other will take damage as well.
However, this game mode isn't just that. You can also assist your partner by giving items, gold, and even champions. Another feature in this game is if you or your partner wins their match, their champions jump to the teammate's board who isn't finished, to support them. Double up is released with the 11.23 patch, a part of Gizmos & Gadgets.
The augments, or cards, in the game have been altered, some good and some bad. For example, training dummies' health have decreased from 600 to 500, and socialite shared bonus was buffed from 75 percent to 100 percent.
According to Riot Games, "With over 140 Hextech Augments, it’s no surprise that we have to adjust a few of them. Some need easy adjustments, while others like Underdogs and Titanic Force need finer tuning to lessen their power in certain use cases."
In addition to lessening powers, Miss Fortune, Gangplank and Samira have been nerfed. For example, Gangplanks health dropped from 800 to 750, and attack damage from 80 to 75.
Samira's attack damage also decreased from 85 to 80 and Miss Fortune's attack speed decreased from 0.75 to 0.7.
On the other hand, champions with bodyguard, colossus, and imperial traits gained a buff. For example, Galio has become stronger in this patch, receiving an increase in starting mana (180/300 to 200/300) and increased damage for his Colossal Entrance ability.
Teamfight Tactics patch 11.23 for set 6 was released on Nov. 17.
