The International 2019's open qualifiers, regional qualifiers, and group stage event dates were revealed Monday by Wykrhm Reddy, a Dota 2 community personality.

The International 9 Qualifiers and Group Stage Dates Revealed

Here is a full list of the announced dates:

  • Open qualifiers: July 3-7
  • Regional qualifiers: July 8-15
  • Group stage: Aug. 15-18
  • Main event: Aug. 20-25

We've known the Aug. 20-25 main event dates since Valve announced its TI9 ticket sales and event location in May, but this announcement gives us a clear idea of the lead-up to the event.

At this point, we still don't actually know who all is receiving the last of the direct invites; only eight out of the twelve slots have been revealed so far. The following teams already have their invites and will play their first matches in the group stage:

  • Team Secret
  • Virtus.pro
  • Evil Geniuses
  • Vici Gaming
  • PSG.LGD
  • Fnatic
  • Team Liquid
  • Ninjas in Pyjamas

If your favorite team isn't on that list, be sure to keep an eye on the open and regional qualifiers, where you might even catch teams and players streaming their own progress.
