The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Switch release date was announced Tuesday at E3 during Nintendo Direct.

Joining the list of acclaimed games from the 2010s to be ported to the Nintendo Switch, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt came out of left field. CD Projekt Red might not be bringing Cyberpunk 2077 to the Switch, but this is a good hand-me-down for Switch owners.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt accrued numerous Game of the Year awards and would be worth the pickup for Switch owners who haven't played it.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Switch Release Date Announced at E3

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Complete Edition comes to the Nintendo Switch later this year. An exact release date wasn't revealed, but it will be released before the end of 2019, according to the presentation.

The Complete Edition makes the sell worth it considering it comes with both Hearts of Stone and Blood and Wine expansions. Plus, there are 16 additional free downloadable content packs in the Complete Edition.
