According to a leak, Thibaut Courtois has won the LaLiga POTM award for February, meaning he should receive a special POTM item in FIFA 22 soon. FutSheriff on Twitter broke the news on Mar. 9, revealing that Courtois outlasted the other POTM nominees from the La Liga, including Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Nabil Fekir.

FIFA 22 LaLiga POTM Courtois Apparently Leaked

Courtois kept four clean sheets in four games for Real Madrid in February, and has been outstanding for the current LaLiga leaders in Spain and European competition this season. The Belgian has a great defense in front of him that has also performed well, but 11 clean sheets and over 60 saves in the league has made him one of the top performing keepers in the league this season.

For FIFA 22, a POTM for Thibaut Courtois would be his second special card this season, after featuring in TOTW 13 back in December. He is a solid keeper in FIFA Ultimate Team, with his well-rounded stats and standing at 6'6". If awarded the POTM award, he would also be the third Real Madrid player to win this year, after Vinicius Jr. and Karim Benzema.

Courtois would likely be a fairly priced SBC, possibly a little more than the last POTM goalkeeper from the Premier League, David de Gea. Let us know if you'd add this player to your squad in FUT 22.
