Total War Three Kingdoms Corruption: How to Avoid It
By Nathan Fusco
Total War Three Kingdoms' corruption can be an annoying feature for many. The game uses corruption to stop players from completely snowballing in matches. But, that doesn't make it any less annoying.
There are ways to reduce corruption overall, but you can't completely get rid of it.
Total War Three Kingdoms Corruption: How to Avoid It
As you advance your kingdom and expand, corruption slowly starts to increase. That means anytime you create a mint or take over a settlement.
The game is almost asking you to make vassals over extra territories instead of directly controlling them. You can build a type of structure that reduces corruption by 25%. That will hardly help once you starting expanding to win the game. Eventually, your corruption will be too high to keep up with your armies, so you'll need to end the game fast. Administrators, assignments, ancillaries, and tech reforms all help with the spread of corruption.
It's a frustrating aspect of the game, but one you have to work with. Just understand that as you expand and grow, your corruption will naturally go up. Nothing you can do about it, so try to end the game swiftly.
