TOTY Release Date FIFA 20: When Will EA Release TOTY?

The Team of the Year release date for FIFA 20 will bring plenty of excitement to the game, and players are eagerly awaiting its arrival. An exact date has yet to be confirmed, but Electronic Arts has announced a month-long release window within which TOTY will arrive.

According to EA, TOTY for FIFA 2020 will arrive some time in January. In the past EA has released pieces of the line up over the course of several days, but last year's release seems to have shifted the strategy to releasing the whole lineup at once.

Last year saw the TOTY revealed Jan, 7, followed Jan. 10 by their release in-game. Players had five days in total to pick up the whole team.

This year there are 55 players in the TOTY longlist, including 16 attackers, 16 midfielders, 18 defenders and five goalkeepers. Liverpool leads with 10 nominations. The final list will be decided by a combination of a now-concluded fan vote, a poll of media, athletes, and FIFA community members, and a poll of EA Sports itself.

UPDATE: 1/1 1:08 p.m. - EA Sports announced that Team of the Year will kick off Monday, Jan. 6 via an in-game loading screen.
