There's no end to the types of collectibles players can find and put to use in Tribes of Midgard—Hideout Fragments, especially.
Hideout Fragments are one of four primary fragments players can collect while adventuring through the world of Norsfell's Tribes of Midgard. Unlike Quest, Event, and Jotunn Fragments, which require active participation and often the completion of a particular achievement, Hideout Fragments are awarded to those brave enough to dive and empty a Hideout.
Tribes of Midgard Hideout Fragments
Players will only receive a Hideout Fragment once they've found and completely cleared out a chosen Hideout. While they may differ in their avenue of collection, Hideout Fragments are still just as necessary to unlock the final battle with Fenrir as the others. Therefore, players would do well not to ignore them should they stumble upon their location.
Hideouts can normally be found in the highlands and are known to be particularly fiery locations. We mean this literally, of course—players should be prepared to jump straight into the flames should they choose to chase a Hideout Fragment. We recommend finding gear with a decent amount of fire resistance or brewing some fire-resistant potions before going on the hunt for one. The Smokey Highlands, themselves, tend to be dangerous in general.
Once found, they'll be marked on the map with a yellow cave icon. Players will only receive the fragment once they completely clear the Hideout. If they haven't picked it up yet, we recommend backtracking to see if any enemies are still lingering about.
