Tricky Pokémon Timed Research Explained
Tricky Pokémon Timed Research is here and ready to celebrate April Fool's Day! Unsurprisingly, this event begins on April 1, 2021, and ends on April 8. The event focuses on those Pokémon who are known for causing trouble.
Who are they? Well, not to name and shame (or perhaps boost their egos) but just a few of the Pokémon you can encounter in the Tricky Pokémon Time Research event are Aipom, Purrloin, and Croagunk.

Tricky Pokémon Timed Research
While there might only be on step to complete this event, it does come in levels and each level threatens to take up a lot of time. What are these tasks you ask? Well, we've got them right here:
- Defeat six Team GO Rocket Grunts. Reward: 100 XP.
- Defeat a Team GO Rocket Leader once. Reward: 100 XP.
- Catch five Shadow Pokémon. Reward: 100 XP.
Yikes. I hope you've got a good line-prepared if you decide to go up against Team Rocket. Especially if you make it to face Giovanni, their leader, who if you manage to defeat will grant you an encounter with a Shadow Zapdos.
