Twelve Minutes Release Date
Players will have access to Twelve Minutes on Aug. 19. It will be available on PC via Steam and Xbox.
According to its listing on the Steam store, Twelve Minutes "blends the dream-like tension of THE SHINING with the claustrophobia of REAR WINDOW and the fragmented structure of MEMENTO."
Players are trapped in the same 12-minute cycle, reliving the romantic dinner and subsequent abrupt arrest and beating of a wife and husband, respectively. The game incorporates puzzle elements with players needing to use the knowledge they've gained from the previously-viewed cycles to break the loop. If they fail, they'll be teleported right back to the beginning, "doomed to relive the same terror again and again."
More information about the game can be found on its website.
