Riot Games has revealed the latest agent to join the Valorant team: Neon.

The newest agent slated to be released alongside Episode 4: Act 1 was originally leaked by Amazon Games in late December 2021 when artwork featuring her was accidentally published via Prime Gaming. The images were swiftly removed, but the damage was done, so Riot doubled down and released an "uncropped version" of the piece for fans to see on the verified Valorant Twitter.

Neon's reveal trailer, "Spark," was published earlier Wednesday, Jan. 5, through the verified Valorant YouTube channel.

New Valorant Agent 'Neon' Reveal Details

Neon hails from Manila, Philippines. Her powers directly correlate to electricity and speed, as seen in her reveal trailer. Both in-game and out, she uses her control over electric currents to zip around the map to cause problems for opponents and decorate her new room.

She also appears to have a love for music as she spends most of of the trailer singing into various household items such as a hairbrush and electric toothbrush as if they were a microphone.

Unfortunately, her kit has yet to be revealed, but we can make a few predictions based on her gameplay preview in the trailer.

As with other agents, Neon is able to use her specific element to deal damage in the form of charged projectiles and controlled zaps. One ability she has appears to create two adjacent walls of electric current in which she can zip in and out. These walls seem to blind other agents to her movements while inside the current, but allow Neon to see their heat signatures while looking through.

Her ultimate ability appears to be a burst or built-up electric charge in which Neon collects and then releases a surge of electricity that courses through her entire body—going as far as to light up her hair, eyes, shoulder implants, and hands. In this form, she can project the voltage like a beam or projectiles through her fingertips. Essentially, she becomes the weapon, rather than needing to wield one.

Neon's agent page has not yet been uploaded to the official Valorant website.
