The Valorant friends list bug has started to annoy the majority of players in the Valorant beta, and here are some ways you can try to fix it before Riot Games devises a solution that will fix the bug.

How to Fix the Valorant Friends List Bug

The Valorant friends list bug prevents players from seeing their friends list in Valorant, making playing with friends or forming a squad nearly impossible for players unless they know their friends in-game name and add them manually to a party.

Players first encountered this bug on Tuesday, the same day that 75,000 beta access keys were set to drop to Twitch viewers watching sponsored Valorant streams with drops enabled. Even some professionals and high level streamers ran into the bug, including Cristopher "GeT_RiGhT" Alesund, a professional CS:GO player for Dignitas.

Riot Games is working on a solution to the bug that will permanently address the issue, along with other errors that Valorant beta players are experiencing. But, until that solution is released, there is not nay agreed upon way to fix the issue on the player end.

One of the more popular suggestions that has worked for some people, is logging out of the game without closing the Valorant client and then re-logging in. Reportedly, some players have fixed the bug in this fashion, but the fix has not worked for everyone.

The only guaranteed solution is to wait for Riot Games to fix the bug in a new Valorant patch, which should arrive later today or tomorrow.
