Valorant Patch 4.01 to Introduce Melee Changes

While Riot Games originally announced that Valorant Patch 4.0 would include melee adjustments, those features were pushed back to Patch 4.1 instead.
The 4.0 update included features such as the newest Agent, Neon, map updates to Bind and Breeze, and weapons like the Spectre and Ares being updated.
Riot Games later tweeted that the melee update would be getting pushed back, and that they would be included within the patch.

Valorant Patch 4.01 to Introduce Melee Changes
The melee changes didn't make their way into the update, but Riot has announced that the adjustments will come out in the next patch.
The original tweet includes the melee adjustments in the announcements, while they went into more detail within the blog post itself.
The intended melee adjustments originally listed in Patch Notes 4.0 didn't make it in. They'll instead get added as part of Patch 4.01, which comes out next week! https://t.co/HR7uPqRWez

Despite this, they've now edited the blog post to say, "These notes previously mentioned changes to the melee—also listed in the highlights image—but will instead ship with Patch 4.01."
Valorant: Proposed Melee Updates
The reported changes will be right-click melee hitboxes 1.5 times larger, and the left-click hitbox will be larger than the right-click hitbox. Along with that, the left-click will have a longer range.
Melee attacks will also have more precise aim, allowing players to be able to hit the targets directly in front of them first.
