Valorant Ranked mode is apparently coming today or this week, according to Valorant developer Nick Wu.
"Ranked should be coming... there should be a patch coming sometime today. If the patch is stable, I believe we'll turn ranked on in relation to that. So, it's probably sometime this week, hopefully it's today," Wu said on his stream.
VALORANT RANKED expected to be released today per Riot developer Nick Wu.

Valorant Ranked Mode Apparently Coming Today or This Week
Valorant closed beta players have been eagerly waiting for a ranked mode considering there's just an unrated playlist currently.
Riot Games detailed the ranked and competitive matchmaking structures the company is implementing for Valorant. The game follows a similar structure to League of Legends with its ranking system. The eight ranks are as follows:
- Iron
- Bronze
- Silver
- Gold
- Platinum
- Diamond
- Immortal
- Valorant
Fans will notice the first six rankings are identical to League of Legends, but Immortal and Valorant are expected equivalents to Masters and Challenger ranks in the MOBA.
"Winning games is the most important factor in gaining rank, but if you perform exceptionally well, your rank can go up faster. Inversely, losing games and performing well below expectations (deduced from your previous matches) will reduce your rank," Riot Games said.
The ranking system also keeps track of personal performances early on in the skill evaluation process.
