Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2 release date is still uncertain. The announcement in 2019 that there would be a sequel to the original 2004 Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines brought excitement and anticipation to fans. The original game was well received by critics but its competition was too strong that time around, with the likes of Halo 2 and Half-Life dominating the market.
A demo of Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2 has already been seen at E3/Gamescon in 2019 and was schedules to be released as of March, 2020. Developers, Hardsuit Labs felt it was not entirely finished and to avoid the same fate as the first, decided to push back the release date indefinitely. No statements or comments has been seen for an update on the game's release date but fans are still hoping for a 2020 release.
Here is when to expect Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2 to hit the store shelves and digital sites:
Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2 Release Date
While the game was delayed indefinitely, a 2020 release is still in the cards.
Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2 is set in Seattle, this first-person, vampire filed game will have many exciting features such as reactive storytelling, disciplines which are a player's powers (similar to a skills tree), clans and fights. With the original story writer, Brian Mitsoda also competing this game's story, expect the quality to be just as high and even better than the original.
With no specific release date yet to be announced, fans can only hope that when it is released, it will not disappoint them, and succeed in the markets unlike the original. With the release of Half-Life: Alyx in late March, it might not have done well if Hardsuit Labs released their game as well.
