Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2's latest trailer, debuted during the Inside Xbox live stream Thursday, confirms the title for Xbox Series X and digs into the dark humor and brutal violence in which the game aims to revel.
The new trailer shows several vampires committing various grotesque acts of murder to the sounds of midcentury pop. One wipes blood off a penthouse window, another seduces and feeds on a dancer at a club, but the most striking scene is the opener, in which a vampire strings up several dead humans by their lips, turning them into horrifying marionettes.

Set in Seattle, Washington, the game follows a newborn vampire as they navigate the city full of competing underground factions.
As the sequel to the cult classic original Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines, VTMB2 has big shoes to fill. It's being developed by Hardsuit Labs and published by Paradox Interactive, with Brian Mitsoda, who worked on the original's story, as narrative designer.
Originally set for a March 2020 release, the game has since been delayed with no new release date set.
