Warner Bros. Games Confirms Gotham Knights Release Date

Fresh on the heels of the latest DC Batman film release, Warner Bros has confirmed the release date for Gotham Knights.

The announcement was made through the verified Gotham Knights game Twitter account early on Wednesday, March 9. Batman fans will have some brand new content to enjoy heading into the holiday season—though, according to the title's description, the man, himself, may not be as present as usual. Fortunately, this doesn't mean Gotham City is on its own. Batman's collection of allies and proteges have stepped up to assume his responsibilities.

"Gotham will always need its heroes. Suit up for an all-new adventure on 10.25.22." The tweet reads.

Gotham Knights Release Date Revealed

Gotham Knights will release for the PlayStation 4/5, Xbox One/Series S|X, and Microsoft Windows PCs on Oct. 25, 2022.

In this story, Batman is dead, leaving the crime-stopping to the rest of the "bat family:" Robin, Batgirl, Nightwing, and Red Hood. It's up to these four heroes to protect the citizens of Gotham City while solving the mysteries that "connect the darkest chapters in the city’s history"—and, of course, beat back the most notorious villains of the franchise. Players will be tasked with becoming the next Dark Knight of Gotham.

Gotham Knights is an open-world action roleplaying game "set in the most dynamic and interactive Gotham City yet." Players can take to the streets on their own or bring along another friend in the battle to keep the five boroughs safe from harm.
