There's new Warzone 2 content on the way, including the long-awaited rollout of Warzone 2 Ranked. Here's when everything is set to kick off.

Following on from Call of Duty's Modern Warfare 2 Ranked, Warzone 2 Ranked is gearing up for release. The mode will launch in Beta for the time being, but will feature all of the competitive elements that players have come to expect.

Players will see dedicated competitive settings, a visual skill system, seasonal rewards and, of course, the ranks.

Players start from Bronze and work their way up to the coveted Top 250 spots by winning matches, getting high placements and earning eliminations. The Skill Rating (SR) system will be as follows:

  • Bronze: 0–899 SR
  • Silver: 900–2,099 SR
  • Gold: 2,100–3,599 SR
  • Platinum: 3,600–5,399 SR
  • Diamond: 5,400–7,499 SR
  • Crimson: 7,500–9,999 SR
  • Iridescent: 10,000 SR minimum
  • Top 250: 10,000+ SR

Skill Rating is based on match performance, and players will need to do their very best to increase their SR. Enterting a match also costs a small amount of SR, so players will need to perform well to at least break even.

When Does Warzone 2 Ranked Start?

Warzone 2 Ranked will be launching as part of the Season 3 Reloaded update. The mode will begin on May 10, 2023.

It's important to note that Modern Warfare 2 Ranked and Warzone 2 Ranked are two separate systems, each with their own Rank progression and rewards.
