Call of Duty Warzone's anniversary is approaching and that leads us to ask for five things we want for its birthday.

Warzone was first introduced on March 10, 2020 and it is the first battle royale released by Activision in the Call of Duty series. By May of 2020, the developers reported that there were over 60 million downloads, and by Dec. 2020, the game had surpassed 85 million players worldwide.

Warzone Anniversary: 5 Things We Want for its Birthday

Everybody loves getting gifts on their birthdays, and we figured that Warzone's birthday would not be an exception. We have come up with five things we want to help make the game more enjoyable.

1. Fix the Glitches

Now, this would suffice if it was the only gift we received. The glitches in Warzone are nearly out of control. Almost every update, or week, there is a new glitch that makes its way into Verdansk.

We have seen the glitches that make flashlights visible through walls and unlimited respawns on Rebirth Island since the integration of Black Ops Cold War and Warzone.

Finding a way to firm up the software to limit the amount of glitches would be an incredible birthday gift.

2. Anti-Cheat

This would also be an amazing gift as well. Hackers run wild in Warzone, and there is no system in place to deter players from hacking in-game. Any viewers of some of the top content creators and professional players of Warzone do not need to watch long before they get their first hacker sighting.

There should be no place for hackers in any video game as it completely sucks the enjoyment out of Warzone.

This is more of a plea to Activision for help than a birthday gift. Please develop an anti-cheat to get hackers out of Warzone.

3. New Operator

A much simpler birthday gift. A new operator for Warzone's birthday would be a fun way to celebrate one year of dropping into Verdansk. We have had a lot of great operators throughout this first year, and a birthday gift to the Warzone community of an operator seems very fitting.

4. Discounted Battle Pass for the Day

In the giving spirit, a discounted Battle Pass for those who have yet to purchase the season's Battle Pass would be another solid birthday gift idea.

5. Birthday Cake Grenades

Last but not least, a fun birthday suggestion to cap off our wish list. Warzone players throwing slices of explosive birthday cake onto opponents to eliminate them would be a light-hearted way to celebrate Warzone's first birthday.
