Call of Duty Warzone night mode could add interesting variety to the game without making players learn an entire new map.

Infinity Ward has shown they are big fans of rotating game modes and are constantly adding alternative modes to the straight forward battle royale concept. Most of these modes are contained to restricting weapons, but maybe they would be interested in adjusting the lighting. They already have multiplayer maps in Modern Warfare set at night, so maybe this wouldn't be too far off for them?

Warzone Night Mode: What Would it Look Like?

A night mode in Warzone could be disaster given the already intense prevalence of campers and rooftop snipers. The sniper glint could be more obvious in the night time and therefore easily countered and avoided, but it means campers have even more of an advantage. When vision is diminished, those who are standing still watching windows will prevail.

The question becomes, though, do you enable thermal scopes? Do you keep or omit cold blooded from the mode? Do you equip every player with night vision goggles? Heartbeat sensors? There are a lot of items and perks that allow you to locate other players silently, so decisions would need to be made about what is kept and what is thrown out.

It would no doubt add another layer of difficulty to the game that would be welcomed by many players.
