Activision has officially announced a red door fast travel system will be coming in Warzone Season 4.

The company published a brief description of the doors alongside their Season 4 roadmap on Monday, June 14. The heading for the doors can be found on the graphic below "WARZONE" and "New Modes." Unfortunately, the information regarding the doors is limited. Aside from the fact they have been confirmed for Season 4, there isn't much to go on.

Here's a comprehensive look into everything we know about the Red Doors.

Warzone Red Doors: What Are They?

Activision's statement is a bit confusing at best. In true tactical fashion, bits and pieces of certain phrases have been "redacted" in order to keep the mystery as Season 4 approaches. It reads:

"Our intel cannot explain the origin of these mysterious red doors around Verdansk, but one thing is certain: They allow you to [[REDACTED]] around the [[REDACTED]]. What’s behind them? Explore and enter them to [[REDACTED]] across the [[REDACTED]]. Red Doors won’t [[REDACTED]] unless you ping them, and after you step through, there’s no telling [[REDACTED]] exiting out the other side… and stepping into a [[REDACTED]]."

Despite it's rather vague Mad Libs-like format, we can guess that this passage states something close to "They allow you to [travel] around the [map]." This conclusion can be verified by recalling the previous survey leak linking the Red Doors and the concept of fast travel.

However, the exact function of the doors is unknown. They will likely appear around various points of interest in Verdansk such as the hospital—previously seen within other in-game footage. Exact locations, how to enter the doors, and where the doors will lead are currently unknown variables.

Call of Duty: Warzone Season 4 launches on June 17.
