Our Warzone Season 4 sniper rifle tier list is here to break down the best weapons to use in Call of Duty's hit battle royale now that the latest major weapons balancing patch have entered the mix.

While Raven Software did not add a new sniper rifle to Verdansk with the release of Season 4, they did make some tweaks to some of the weapons in the class. Will this be able to shake up the long-range meta? Here are the best sniper rifles to use in Call of Duty: Warzone Season 4.

Warzone Season 4 Sniper Rifle Tier List

S Tier

The Kar98k, Pelington 703 and Swiss K31 remain at the top of the list as they are the most likely to allow aggressive players to take over a lobby. From their excellent effective damage ranges to their quick rechamber speeds and light mobility, these snipers would allow any nimble player to rack up headshot feeds in style. It is interesting to note that despite players expecting the Swiss K31 to nerf its damage or increase its bullet velocity, it didn't really see a major change as the devs decided to improve its base optic functionality and update its base reticle.

A Tier

The A tier remains intact for Season 4. This trio of options groups nicely together as although they are viable options, it feels like most players would abandon ship for their stronger, easier-to-handle S tier counterparts mentioned earlier. While the ZRG 20mm is a bit on the slower side thanks to it having a higher bullet velocity and less bullet drop, the LW3 - Tundra and SP-R 208 are more balanced in their strengths and weakness.

B Tier

  • AX-50
  • HDR

Two snipers that were once the kings of Warzone early on in the game's lifespan, the AX-50 and HDR have fallen behind in the pack as newer snipers were added to the mix. Nonetheless, longtime players know exactly what these options are capable of, and it shouldn't be a surprise to see them still dropping in loadouts.

C Tier

  • M82
  • Rytec AMR
  • Dragunov

Three snipers that are all semi-automatic, it's quite unfortunate that they all remain at the bottom of the list. There is hope for one of them, however, as the M82 received a buff to its damage and bullet velocity with Raven Software reworking the rifle to take on a slower firing, harder-hitting role.
