The Forest Spirit skin for the Operator Grinch turns wearers invisible at certain ranges, Warzone players report, making the skin a transparent way for players willing to shell out real-world cash to gain an advantage over their opponents.

For 1,800 COD Points, players can buy the Eloko bundle. The Forest Spirit skin, included in that bundle, functions the way camouflage does in memes: the wearer's body becomes completely see-through, such that their weapons can be seen floating around.

A video by YouTuber Scop3s shows that when not aiming down sights, one becomes unable to see players in the Forest Spirit skin at around 34 meters. When aiming with a normal scope, that range extends to 55 meters, and a sniper scope pushes it to 125 meters.

Activision and Raven Software have yet to acknowledge the bug, but it's likely a fix is one of the development team's top priorities. Not only is this bug incredibly powerful, its being tied to a cash purchase opens Warzone up accusations of being pay-to-win. There are few design decisions in gaming more reviled than clear cases of cash trumping skill.
