What is Fortnite rule book 3.1 and why is it important? Well, for starters, just like any well-organized competition, the Lazar and Fresh's Super Knockback event is governed by a specific set of rules that players must follow in order to participate. Rule 3.1 is one of the key rules that players must abide by that is out of their control because it discusses minimal eligible age.

Lazar and Fresh's Super Knockback was an event held on March 3, 2021 to welcome the addition of Lazarbeam's Fortnite skin to the Series with fellow content creator Fresh. Lazarbeam is an Australian YouTuber know for his Fortnite content. Fresh is another popular Fortnite content creator on Twitch, who also received a custom series bundle earlier this month on March 3.

Now, for rule 3.1, the rule listed specific age requirements for eligible participants in this event.

"To be eligible to participate in any Event match, a player must be at least 13 years old (or such other age, if greater, as may be required in such player’s country of residence).  If a player is under 18 years of age or the age of majority as defined in such player’s country of residence (a “Minor”), such player must have permission from a parent or legal guardian in order to participate in the Event."

The tournament was set to celebrate the addition of both creators to the series:

"A tournament inspired by Lazarbeam’s favorite weapon the Flint-Knock Pistol. In this Duos tournament, top-performing teams in each region will unlock the Lazarbeam Bundle before it’s in the Item Shop! In Lazar & Fresh’s Super Knockback, many of the weapons at your disposal are more powerful versions of knockback weapons. You’ll find Lazar’s Flight-Knock, a custom version of the Flint-Knock Pistol, from Supply Drops. And if you’ve taken damage, you can Emote to heal. Fall damage is vaulted."

So, there you have it. Those who participated in the tournament had to be at least 13 years of age, according to rule 3.1 in the official tournament rules.
